While the impact of the H1 N1 pandemic event remains mild at this point, the Diocese of Toronto has the following to observe:
• The practice of intinction is prohibited
• Communion in one kind is an acceptable tradition within the Anglican Church
• The exchange of the peace can be accomplished with a simple nod of acknowledgement
• That basic hygiene regarding the “sleeve sneeze”, washing of hands and the use of hand sanitizers is encouraged
Hand sanitizers will be available on the alms chest as well as at the entrances to the room.
